Outlander’s Sam Heughan at Symphony Space

Starz’s Outlander has legends of devoted fans, so it was a no brainer to bring them together for a night with their favorite Scotsman, Sam Heughan, the star of the hit time-travel television series. Billed as a partnership between New York Comic Con and the Happy Sad Confused podcast, host Josh Horowitz and Sam delighted audiences with hilarious stories, fun games, and audience questions.

I produced the event, securing the venue Symphony Space on New York City’s Upper West Side, and leveraged Josh’s close relationship with Sam to provide an experience the crowd would be talking about long after it ended. It quickly became a sold-out show, with nearly 1,000 attendees lining up around the block anxiously waiting to enjoy this exclusive conversation.
