MTV Movies Design & Launch

After an innovative attempt at a Flash-based homepage, MTV decided to scrap that site for a brand new, HTML5-powered platform. One of the four main sections was MTV MOVIES, and I project managed the entire project, from design to UX to testing to eventual launch. I wireframed the landing page, building in the many facets of the MOVIES section, from daily news and videos to red carpet photos and blog updates. I also included movie trailers, a weekly box office module, and a constantly rotated list of upcoming films. The result was a one-stop shop for movie fans everywhere, presenting our multifaceted content in a clear, digestible format. Additional modules could also be added to promote specific initiatives, such as the MTV Movie Awards.
