Not many people are alive to remember this, but I actually got my start launching an online comic book and pop culture magazine called The Slush Factory. It was reasonably successful, and netted me my first dot-com job in Manhattan. So covering comic books has always been a priority of mine, and of course now it’s mainstream, for better or for worse.
